Description
The sensor continuously monitors the temperature in the enclosed space (such a engine room or electrical cabinets) and detects the smallest change in the temperature. Whenever the temperature exceeds a specified threshold or rises faster then defined, an alert is generated as a possible indication of fire. The alert is forwarded to you (and optionally your home marina/port).
The sensor is designed to operate at high temperatures on long terms (85°C) and even up to 5min @ temperature of 130°C.

Monitor Key Aspects of Your Boat
Smart Boat Sensors come in many forms to protect a boat and its contents from the most likely and most dangerous of all threats. These have various names given by sailors and boat owners.
The beauty of these devices is they not only measure, they track changes, and they not only set an alarm, they alert the owner directly to their personal smart phone, any email account(s), and any phone number(s).
Battery Condition
Did you leave something on or is the battery degrading? A battery sensor will give you current & historic status to answer the question.
These smart sensors are known as a boat battery alarm, wireless boat alarm system, or perhaps boat battery monitor & alarm.
Flood/ Sinking Alerts
The water level in any part of the boat may be monitored e.g. under a waste holding tank, or under a fresh water tank to obtain specific alerting of that area.
These smart sensors are known as a bilge alarm sensors, cellular bilge alarms, bilge alarm float switch, bilge alarm panel, bilge pump alarm, bilge high water alarm, or simply wireless boat alarm system.
Freezing Alert
Freezing water can cause immediate issues or flooding issues later. Our bilge (water) alarm also has a freezing alert built-in, as well as the bilge water sensor.
These smart sensors might be known as boat freezing alarms, bilge alarms, bilge pump alarm, boat monitoring system, wireless bilge alarm, marine alarm, or simply wireless boat alarm system
High & Low Temperature
High temperatures can lead to fires, and so this sensor is designed to constantly measure the temperature, (whether high or low temperature) wherever it is placed.
Low temperatures might indicate the failure of heating, or a freezing risk to pipework, water tanks, and other boat systems.
These sensors might also be known as boat smoke detectors, boat fire detectors, boat fire alarms, marine temperature sensor, marine air temperature sensor, or high temp alarm switch.

Sensors for All Boats
The yacht profiles below provide some examples of installation of your smart boat sensor on motor yachts, sailing yachts, tug boats and fishing vessels, as well as fast patrol craft.
Bilge sensors may be placed in any location where flooding might occur or begin. The temperature sensors may generally be placed in engine rooms, or places where freezing or high temperatures might occur. The battery sensor can be connected near-by but not necessary at any leisure, auxiliiary, or other batteries to monitor usage and protect these from deep discharge.

Happy Customer Interview
I would like to tell you about my experience 1 month after installing my SENSE4BOAT sensors. I am very satisfied with the sensors, the installation was child’s play to do, since the sensors need no power supply from the outside, no cables were necessary for the installation. The battery sensors are just great, I can see from home whether my batteries are charged and in what condition they are. The bilge sensor and fire detector are also great safety features for my boat. Should something really happen, the marina can provide immediate help and keep the damage in check. I’m happy to find such a great product in the marina, keep it up. A very successful product, which I can only recommend to every boater.

Android & Apple Mobile App (FREE)
All the sensors and the measurements collected from the various sensors can be checked anywhere with a SENSE4BOAT mobile application.
When a crtical alert is generated, the owner, and optionally the marina where the boat is berthed in, will receive a voice call with a detailed description of the hazard, as well as an email, SMS and a push notification on the mobile application.
The application also logs all alerts and warnings generated by the sensors.
Each of the sensors is directly connected to the Internet so there is no need for an expensive and complicated central unit, it is powered by internal long-life batteries so it does not drain the boat’s batteries and the installation is done in several minutes.
In order for the sensors to work, they need to be in the area covered by the Sigfox Network, the world’s largest IoT network. No SIM cards are required and only a moderate annual subscription.
